    org chart shot

People at the office asked me to take a few photos from them Here is one image that I worked a bit more Ambient light Background is the building reflection on a window Added a B&W layer (value mode) on parts of her face to reduce annoying highlights Mind boggling how a 36 mp image will be reduced to a 120x120 pixels Perhaps my watermark will not be visible LOL

    Morning drive

My morning drive often has beautiful light, this morning also had some nice clouds I had the V1 on the passenger seat, turned on and set up so I can just pick it up with one hand, shoot a burst and hope to get something usable while still keeping my eyes in the road I had 3 attempts to get something nice, this one I liked ...

    Red dress

Shoot at a studio free practice Lights were initially set to each side 45 degrees of the subject and about 2 m away, i do not like the very even illumination this produces so ... I moved them to one side and place them as close as possible without getting in the way 2 umbrellas together producing a fairly large light source and wonderful soft shadows It would have been better if I had some light bounced on her hair so it does not get lost into the black background, but ... she liked it
  7. I was taking this image for granted until someone pointed out the lens was used wide open, then I realized I did use autofocus and it worked even when there was little light, then the colors were simply not visible with the naked eye. The shot was taken 35 mins before sunrise , the light pollution is from a large city 40kms behind the mountain, and another town to the camera left maybe 20kms I guess a good demonstration of the D800, raw file, lightroom 4, and the sigma 150
