Back from two weeks visiting the Loire Valley, partly on our bicycles. This was taken in the wonderful gardens of the castle of Villandry, with my IR modified D80.
  2. We made a long a wonderful trip to the Western US last summer, cruising through Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Idaho and Wyoming in a humongous motorhome. I'll post a few of the pictures in this thread. My wife fell in love with the V1 and monopolized it most of the time, so I had to make do with the D700, so good but so heavy... It all started in Paris - Charles de Gaulle, on August 1st.
  3. D80ir (720 nm internal filter) with the cheap and efficient 18-55mm lens.

    blue grove

I keep going back to two castles near my house, this one more than the other. It is interesting to see that after so many years, there are still plenty of opportunities I have never considered. It tells a lot about my lack of vision... This is an IR shot take at the "Chateau de Méry". The colors were there, I did not paint them in. Taken with my dying D80IR and a 16mm f/2.8AI fisheye. This lens exhibits a faint and manageable hot spot.

    On my way

The Castle of Mery sur Oise is on my way to work. This is an example of view I am lucky to enjoy, sometimes... D80ir, AFS 18-55mm.

    Fall fake colors

My wife cursed me today because I only took the IR camera out for our long walk.

    DSC 0149 S

I went for a walk in the village while my son was at his judo lesson. The place is filled with tourists nowdays, people try to get a feel of where Van Gogh lived his last days.

I went for a walk today in the park of the "Château de Méry sur Oise" to generate the picture for the 48th week of the picture a week challenge. Here is what I came back with...
