  1. This building was originally built in 1928 as a school. The architectural style is called "Amsterdamse School". Now a monument and used for private housing. To take this shot I had to set the lens at 12mm and stand on the public road with the risk of being run over by passing cars and busses. Somehow it worked out and I survived 😀 Olympus E-M10II + Olympus 12-40mm f2.8

  6. Another HDR, again shot handheld. Three Jpegs merged with Nik HDR plus additional post processing. Please view the original size on Flickr for "best viewing experience". EM10-113637 by Luc de Schepper, on Flickr
  7. Three Jpeg images (shot handheld) combined with Nik HDR. I was pleasantly surprised with the rendering and detail in the end result. EM10-033550 by Luc de Schepper, on Flickr

  19. A series of photographs shot at Rick's Café in Negril/Jamaica, a trendy meeting place for both locals and tourists, built on a beautiful vantage point on the rocks. This place is in the top 10 of coolest bars in the world, and rightly so in my opinion. Yes it is touristy but there's a nice relaxed atmosphere. Visitors drink a beer or cocktail, smoke a joint , listen to live reggae music, watch each other and those who dive or jump from relatively low (approximately 10m) or high (approximately 25m) height into the water. All this while you are presented with a beautiful sunset. In short, a must when you visit Jamaica. Images shot with an Olympus E-M10 and Olympus 12-40mm f2.8. 21. Last Friday I visited the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision in Hilversum/Holland. From the website http://www.beeldengeluid.nl/en/netherlands-institute-sound-and-vision The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision (Nederlands Instituut voor Beeld en Geluid) is one of the largest audio-visual archives in Europe. The Institute preserves a major part of the Dutch audio-visual heritage and makes it accessible to potential users. The collection totals over 700,000 hours of television, radio, music and film. But the Institute is more than just a collection. Apart from functioning as an audio-visual archive for the national broadcasting corporations and others, it also offers a unique media experience for its visitors. I shot a series of images of both the - remarkable - building and the media Experience. The whole series of 44 images can be viewed here https://www.flickr.com/photos/lucdeschepper/sets/72157649132236864/ All images Olympus E-M10 and Olympus 12-40mm f2.8. 22. During a visit to 's-Hertogenbosch (or Den Bosch) I had a few minutes to shoot this series of images of the beautiful cathedral. Must return sometime and bring the announced 7-14mm f2.8 with me ... All images Olympus E-M10 and Olympus 12-40mm f2.8. Please view large for best result. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
