The island of Ireland's Eye, off the East coast of Ireland, complete with Martello tower. These towers were built by the British as watchtowers to alert the military to any invasion by Napoleon Bonaparte. He never came, having other things on his mind at the time.

I am slowly but surely going through the few exposures from Ireland. Thanks to incessant rain there are a lot less than expected. But some even work in the rain. Found this defunct phone booth on the road: Of course I had to try it (image taken by my wife): Not really my size ;-( cheers afx
