1. Two images shot (handheld, shutter speed 1/8sec) with a Samyang fisheye lens of the new Delft railway station. The ceiling is a reference to the world-famous Delfts Blauw pottery. With some imagination it's visible in these images. 1. 2.
2. An image of the beautiful interior of the Tropenmuseum (worth a visit!) in Amsterdam/Holland. Shot handheld at 1/5sec. Please watch full size to view the details. Olympus E-M10II + Samyang 7.5mm f3.5

4. I'm still addicted to my Samyang 7.5mm fisheye for images like these. EM10-8061019 by Luc de Schepper, on Flickr EM10-8061025 by Luc de Schepper, on Flickr
5. I have a special craving for these lenses, especially the older one, the f/3.5. I compared an old f/3.5 non Ai, a f/2.8 Ais and the latest AF f/2.8D. I just wanted to know which one is the sharpest at center and border to decide once and for all which one will remain in my bag. I used a Nikon Df on a tripod, with Aperture Priority. This is far from a complete and scientific test. First batch are pictures of a map in my wall, with the camera placed 1m away from it, so focus may not be perfect. 100% crops from the center and upper left side, lens wide open and two other apertures (f/5.6 and f/8). Second batch are from my window, lens at infinity and 100% crops from center and border (close). Only at f/5.6. They are all in this sequence (older at the top, newer at bottom). 1- NIKKOR 16mm f/3.5 non AI 2- NIKKOR 16mm f/2.8 Ais 3- AF NIKKOR 16mm f/2.8D WIDE OPEN @f/5.6 @f/8 FOCUS AT INFINITY AND @ f/5.6
6. Olympus has finally announced that sale of the Olympus M.Zuiko 7-14/2.8 Zoom and the M.Zuiko 8/1.8 Fisheye will commence in June. Here is the link to 43rumors: http://www.43rumors.com/olympus-7-14mm-8mm-and-titanium-e-m5ii-officially-announced/ Personally I'm interested in the 7-14/2.8, since it will complete my kit in the wide end.
7. I think it works. It also looks like this lens has a nice bokeh. All images were taken in manual focus, focusing the lens at the closest distance. The petals were touching the front element! D7000 10.5mm 2.8 • 1/2000" 2.8 100 ISO 1 2 D7000 10.5mm 2.8 • 1/1250" 2.8 100 ISO 3
8. These were captured with my D5100, please view large: A day in mid October, the sun sets over the ocean outside Nyksund in Vesterålen, Northern Norway. At this time of the year the sun does not set in the west, but more to the south. 1: (12-24mm @ 14mm f/9, 1/320s) A light drizzle of snow on the ground lights up the landscape. 2: (12-24mm @ 24mm f/9 1/40s) Nyksund is situated on two islands; panorama after sunset. 3: (A stitch of two mostly overlapping images from the 10.5mm fisheye, f/8 1/40s) A wider view of the ocean. 4: (stitch of two 10.5mm fisheye images at f/8 1/40s)

It is mine !

Long weekend with no real plans ... come the third day, I went looking for something to shoot Ended up at the Dry (usually) lagoon of Sayula, about 70 kms from my home in Guadalajara Found this abandoned couch and decided to try a self portrait When dry I like the vastness of the place, a huge flat surface of dry mud, this time the off-road the surface was like jello and I did not dare take the truck off road here is my transportation for the day, after playing with an IR conversion in color efex

Bull fighter

Hi all, I had posted some shots of the drifting truck in this board earlier. While all of those where with long(er) lenses, during that shoot i also shot with the fisheye. This is a video of the shooting day (not my video, but shot by one of the team owners). While the video isn't of professional quality, it's fun none-the-less and around the 2 minute mark you see me bull-fighting the truck with the fishy. I had to check my testies when this was done, even though from above it doesn't seem so daunting.
