    The Wedding Party

I'm not sure of customs there, but in the US they would look to be part of a bachelorette party. The one with the veil would be the future bride. These are often drinking events which would explain the cups as well. Jeremy

    A follow up image; after the waters go down. Nikon D2x, Sigma 15-30mm f3.5-4.5 @15mm, ISO 100, f8, 1/80th
  3. Mike, In a perfect world I'd have had a 400mm lens to affect that. Sure I can crop like this, but the image goes to pot trying to enlarge that much.
  4. This is the original you had trouble with. It is a low S/N which is known to have the very stiff zoom ring as well. I bought it used around 2004 or so. I've never tried the newer designs.
  5. Nikon D700, 70-210 f4.5-5.6D @210. f5.6, 1/400th, ISO 200.
  6. Yeah it works well enough and the zoom factor makes me keep it instead of trading it in for a prime. Jeremy
  7. Hi Dallas, A single desiccant ball at about 4.2x life size. Jeremy
  8. Nikon D700, Sigma 120-300 f2.8 Luzerne County, PA, USA. Water rescue team working with an urban rescue dog to get him acclimated to marine operations.
  9. Nikon D700, Zhongyi 20mm f2 Macro.
  10. Nikon D700, 24-70 f2.8G, SB-800 flash.
  11. Great shot, excellent timing and color

    Ashley with Seashell

    Wonderful image.
  13. I use a Leica M system because RF's are great for street work when you don't want to carry a bulky SLR. I have a 21, 35, 50 and 90mm lenses for that I also have a Leica R system which is similar to Nikon film bodies with lenses that have a different rendering and operating style. For this system I have primes in the range of 21 to 800mm. I also have a Minolta, and Pentax cameras and a few lenses, but I never use them. I was given both systems. JCA

    Sigma TC's Suck!

A bit OT, but my Sigma 1.4x TC mates quite well with my Sigma 120-300 f2.8 lens. I am quite happy with it. Of course the zoom is supposed to be better than the 300 f2.8 prime. JCA
  15. You should be able to use a Kenko tube which has contacts, although I don't know if it has all of them to transmit the signals. I have the 85 PC-D and it vignettes pretty heavily with extension, especially if you start shifting. The issue you raise is one of the reasons I opted for the D lens instead of the E lens. JCA
