  6. Awesome work. The second is particularly spectacular.
  7. Maybe these pics don't show it but the Otus produces pics of beautiful and different quality, like the 85mm f/1.4. The Nikkors 105mm f/1.4E and 200mm f/2G have also this characteristic, IMHO.
  8. Trying it to see if I can focus it properly. Thank you for looking.
  9. Agreed. I like the idea, although it should be implied that when you post a pic you are subject to some kind of critique. With this option, one might be more encouraged to make a critique.

  11. It's difficult to see negative (but constructive) critics in the foruns. I prefer to avoid commenting pics that I don't like because I'm not good with the words, and of course, the language and cultural barriers.
  12. Thank you for the honest opinion Chris.
  13. Thank you for looking. D5 & AF-S 500mm f/4G VR II in 1 and 4. D4s & AF-S 105mm f/1.4E in all others. 1 2 3 4 5
  14. Yes. I like this picture, but it is a reminder that a superb lens is not enough to produce superb images. People tend to think that owing a super lens makes them good photographers.

Editor's note: wonderfully honest image of a creature I have not seen before. I like this one of the series best because of the clean background. Seen here.

  17. Thank you Andrew. I forgot to say that they run free in the park, not in cages.
  18. Otus 28mm f/1.4. So difficult to focus....

Thank you for the comment G. I used Silver Effex for the conversion and it surely tends to produce contrastier pics. Somehow I like it, but I don't know yet if I return to the PS CC conversion engine, which is softer. I agree that plants are not the most exciting subject, but it is a good photo practice for me and also a very pleasant way to spend the saturday morning.
  22. I really don't like to read it at my iphone. Maybe because it's very different from the desktop version.
