  1. I like the two B&W. They convey the mood of the ancient buildings more properly.
  2. Jalapão State Park. D5 & Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 Distagon. Thank you for looking.
  3. I fully agree with you. Image manipulation is digital art not photography for me.
  4. To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them. Elliott Erwitt You can look at a picture for a week and never think of it again. You can also look at a picture for a second and think of it all your life. Joan Miró
  5. Pedra Furada is located at Jalapão State Park. It´s a pink formation rising suddenly in the plains with two big holes in it. These girls are friendly french tourists who allowed me to post these pictures. Thank you for looking. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7

    Canyon Sussuapara

Another attraction of Jalapão State Park. It is 15m deep and we walk along a shallow creek with water dripping all over us. The place is dark and full of plants and pink rocks. Thank you for looking. 1 2 3 4 5 6

    River Springs

Yes Dallas, and you have attractions for as many trips as you want. I forgot to mention the the water is not cold. Thank you for the comment.

    River Springs

Jalapão State Park has many river springs that you can take a dive at. It is impossible to sink there because of the upward flow. The access is restricted and the number of tourists is limited. Also you can not use soap, sunblock or insect repelant if you want to bath there. One of them has the thinest sand I've always seem. Looks like wet powder, or a cream. Thank you for looking.
  16. Here's the nibbling fish doing my cuticles...
  17. My pleasure Dallas. Unforgettable place indeed!
  18. One of the attractions of Jalapão State Park. Clear and warm waters, caves to explore while swimming and little fish that eat our cuticle for free in a very relaxing process. D5 & Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 Distagon. Thank you for looking.
  19. Very common plant in the cerrado. Cerrado is how the biome in this region is called. D4s & 8-15mm fisheye. Thank you for looking.

    Jalapão dunes

Jalapão State Park is located in Tocantins state, Brazil's central region. Hard core tourism, where the attractions are far away from each other and connected by bad unpaved roads. Nature is generous here. You can visit sand dunes and bath in many headsprings, waterfalls and river beaches. I'm still here and have lots of images to be processed. Thank you for looking. 1 2 3 4 5
  21. Believe it or not, the golden material used in these artifacts is completely natural and unprocessed. And stays like this for a very long time. It is found in the central region of Brazil. In the third picture the 10 yo girl Lailane is making one piece. In the last you can see the stems as they are found in the field. Took these today. Thank you for looking.
  22. This is in Palmas, Tocantins, Brazil. Taken today. D5 & Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 Distagon. Thank you for looking.
