    Today's treking

    Today we went to the so-called Canyon dos Crubixás, in the Serra de Macaé (near my place), where there is a beautiful waterfall. I always go hiking in this privileged region. The last two photos in which I appear were taken by the guide Vavá. I used the Z6 with the 14-30mm f/4Z and the fisheye Nikkor 16mm f/3.5. Thank's for looking. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11
  10. I'm home already. The trip was 12000 km long and was perfect. No serious mishap and always wonderful scenery. Plus the pleasure of riding my motorbike for 27 days. I took the Z6 with the 14-30mm f/4Z and the 70-200mm f/4G but used it very few times. Most pictures were taken with the iPhone 11 Pro Max because I didn't have to dismount and open the case to reach for the camera. Maybe I'll prepare a last set of images where the handlebar of the motorbike is in all images. Thank you all for commenting.
  11. We are still on the road. Entered Brazil yesterday in Foz do Iguaçu, 1800 km away from home. Below is also the itinerary and route, as well as the diploma that the administration of Villa O’Higgins kindly gives us for completing the Carretera Austral.   12. On March/9 I left Macaé with 2 friends to Villa O'Higgins, where the end of the Carretera Austral (Ruta 7) is. Highway made to brave southern Chile, kind of like Transamazon, but this has a reputation for being one of the most beautiful roads in the world. I checked it myself. On March/18 we passed Km 0, in Puerto Monnt and arrived at the end on March/22. To complete the route until entering Argentina again there were 948 km of ripio, gravel floor that makes riding the heavy bikes dangerous and stressful. The highway is 1247 km long, but we have to go back much of the way for itself until it takes the east direction to Argentina. To complete the route requires 4 ferry crossings. We expect to ride 13000km in total. We are still in Argentina and take the day to rest today, so I was able to pp some photos. Most were made with the iPhone 11 Pro Max.   14. Yesterday I completed another trek in the Serra de Macaé (mountains near my place). Very beautiful region. This time it was around the Macabu dam, which supplies two hydroelectric plants. The heat was scorching, so if you don't like the photos at least understand the difficulty of getting them. lol I only took the Nikon Z6 with the 14-30mm f/4Z to reduce the weight of the backpack.     Super Dry

    Lucky you. I live near the beach and if you don't take any precautions the mold will destroy the lenses very fast. The industry should create a lens coating that is less mold friendly.
