Review: New Peak Design Leash
If I am working with my cameras and I don’t have my strap attached I invariably get asked by curious onlookers what those weird little red and black pill things are sticking off my camera. If I’m feeling playful I tell them that they are mood sensors and if they put it in their mouth for a second I will be able to read their mood through the camera.

Review: Panasonic Leica 8-18mm f/2.8-4.0 DG Vario-Elmarit
A few weeks back I wrote a short piece about how I was having a serious bout of NAS after discovering a new Panasonic Leica 8-18mm lens sitting in a local electronics store.

An ecosystem??
For some time I have been trying to capture the diversity that can (and usually DOES) occur within a small patch of tundra.  I am not trying for a macro shot of a flower, but of an in focus, good depth of field, of a patch of tundra.

X-E3 - First Impressions
I've just got my hands on an X-E3.  It seems to be a little bit of a forgotten camera in the Fuji line up, even though it is right up to date with the same sensor as the X-T2, X-T20 and others.

27mm f/2.8 XF Fujinon
The Fujinon XF 27mm F2.8 is one of the two official so-call "Pancake" lenses available from the Fujifilm X-Mount line-up (The other one is the Fujinon XF 18mm F2 R lens). Designed firstly to be paired with smaller APS-C ILC bodies of the X-Series such as X-M1 or X-A1/2 it never prevent many X-enthousiasms to match the model with larger camera bodies.

ThinkTank Retrospective V2.0 Bags
ThinkTank just announced the update to their very popular Retrospective line of camera bags, and the update looks to be really good. I've owned most of the original versions of this bag and I still use the 5 and 7 (the others had to be sold to make way for other bags), which are great shoulder bags, especially for smaller mirrorless systems.

I still haven't had enough time to properly investigate the new Z Series from Nikon (I have been shooting property flat out and planning the upcoming Thanksgiving Safari) so I am scouring the YouTube for videos about it. Yes, I am becoming very lazy.
