Same here in South Africa. It was actually quite cool on Christmas Day and usually by this time of the year tempers are stretched by the hot sticky humidity we normally  have in Durban. Not much so far this summer, but the forecast for the next 10 days does indicate some hot days (+30˚C). Mind you, in recent years the hottest months have all come in March.
