What's Your Next Bit Of Kit?

I was going to title this "what's your next camera?" but I think to broaden the possible discussion we should include all kinds of camera gear.

My next purchase is going to be studio related again and it will be a pair of Manfrotto Autopoles to use in my studio. They are incredibly versatile and will let me not only set up a backdrop anywhere in my space, but also support lights and other things wherever I set one up. My first plan is going to be to use them for backdrop holders for a job I have coming up.

Now, as far as cameras go I won't be investing anything new into the Micro Four Thirds system as I think I have everything I need for the system, including the "trinity" lenses (8-18mm, 12-40mm and 35-100m) and a pair of macro lenses for small products I need to shoot, so I would like to test the Fujifilm waters and I am now on high alert for a used X-H1 and a decent kit lens that gets me as wide as a 24mm angle of view on 135 format. If the jobs really start to come in now I might even go to the X-H2 that was announced just this past week. Looks like a real winner that one.

What's your next thing?

Next thing on my shopping list is probably a Tele converter to use with my 70-300.  I also keep thinking I should get some lighting - either a flash or a video light, something portable.

I’ve always wanted to experiment with medium further digital. The Fuji 50R II are under $3000 now used and closer to the $2000 side of the fence. I could trade up my Fuji kit almost straight up for it and a prime lens.

same with Leica.  Used M8 and a lens are shot the same price.

no need or problem to solve, just pure interest.

If you are looking at either X-H1 or X-H2, perhaps you could also consider the X-S10.  It is of a similar style and a bit newer than the H1.
