What a magnificent door (Photo 1)!  It must have seen some sights over the years.

Another interesting series - thank you..

You have captured some wonderful scenes of a fascinating city.

I’m trying to work out how old that rifle must be in picture 1.  It must be more than 100 years old.  I remember when I visited back in 1996 that most  military stuff looked to be WW2 vintage.

These are well seen and shot, but I do not think that monochrome suits the subject. In particular, the last photo does make it clear what the lady was selling, and does not reveal the beauty of the colours. I know the colours were glorious. I was in Kathmandu in 1996, like Crowecg (I wonder if we met), and the colours were memorable.

I did the Annapurna circuit trek with a UK based tour group.  There must have been about a dozen in the group.

I was on my own, and the Annapurna circuit seemed a bit too tough for me! What a great trip, though.
