The light and sharpness of the droplets are interesting.

Thanks fellows - it's a coffee cup lid (!)

Macro is fun, there seems to be a lot of potential subjects.  But it's a challenge to get the right lighting, the right background. I think I'll be in learn mode for a quite awhile.

That is an interesting shot! When viewing it for the first time I didn´t know what it is and that didn´t bother me at all - for me characteristics of a succesful abstract!

First of all I like the colours, they really fascinate me!

And then I like the focuspoint, it is exactly at the right place for me. (Sometimes I find it quite difficult to find the "right" spot to focus in such abstract macro work, so: well done!)

And the droplets are great!

You cropped the picture to a panoramic which as a format works well for that picture. For having that panoramic you cut off the main motive at the bottom and that is troubling me a little. I think it´d be nice to have the complete whatever-that-is-thing in the picture. At the upper edge my eye is kept in the picture, the picture is fading out nicely there.
