We've had quite a few new members join our ranks in the past few weeks, so if you are new to FZ and I didn't personally welcome you, please forgive me, but welcome collectively! 

 

If you have been missing regular members who you haven't seen in a while you can check out when they last visited by going to our Visitor Log and scrolling through the active membership block down that page. It is sorted by last active date and time. 

 

Did you know that if you don't visit Fotozones often but you would like to be notified when members you follow make new topics, all you need to do is visit their profile page and click on the Follow Member button (seen in the masthead of their profile). Once you are following members you can decide how you would like to be notified of their new posts by visiting your Notification settings. You can have the system send you an email either immediately, once a day or once a week. There are a lot of different options for getting notifications, so be sure to check out those settings. 

 

Some of the other online communities I am a member of are organising online meetings via Zoom. I have given this some thought and if there is enough interest here we could do something similar. It will be tricky with time zones given our massive geographic spread, but maybe it will be nice to meet other members of the community face-to-screen (so to speak). Thoughts?
