In 2009 my wife and I visited family of my wife on Java, Indonesia. We toured this fascinating island and of course also went to see the famous Buddhist temple Borobudur (built 9th century).

Recently I browsed the images I shot there with my then new Nikon D70s and decided to (re)process a few.

Nice.  The gritty mono treatment of the reprocessed images suits these subjects well.

Sorry for my belated response.  Images of such historical monuments never cease to be joy to appreciate.  Your 6MP D70s captured the details of the reliefs and the textures of the stone monuments very well.

Thank you for sharing, Luc!

And yet another one from "the attic", 2009 to be precise. Borobudur temple (Java/Indonesia) with view on two of the four active surrounding volcanos. Image shot with a D70s and Tamron 28-75mm. Re-processed in Silver Efex and Lightroom.
