Nice and tranquil place.

Similar to a brazilian landscape.

It would work in B&W too.

Looks like its got more water in it than the Victoria Falls at the moment, though...

Water yep it is Ireland, which is known to have the odd spot of rain!

When the shot was taken the volume of water over the falls was very low.

Indeed. While the volume of water over Victoria Falls varies greatly with the seasons, it seems that the current low volumes are exacerbated by climate change.

It seems that all the water ended up in South Africa last week. We had more rainfall in December than I can ever remember. It rained for so long that even inside got soggy with damp. And of course the idiots who "manage" the national electricity grid screwed up and we had rolling blackouts for over a week because of "wet coal" and "sabotage" (as they put it). 🙄

Mind you, here in Luxembourg we have had about a month of virtually non-stop rain.

Up to about five years ago all that rain would have fallen as snow. We see hardly any snow now.
