Not a Wellington. A Lancaster.

The shot below it is a Tornado.

Good photos, but they could all do with a tad more exposure.

And it's a pity that you froze the props on the Lancaster.

Maurice that is 617 Squadron (the Dambusters)

A few years ago I walked across the Moehne dam, the wartime damage is still visible!

Its the Royal International Air Tattoo .. they have several aerobatic teams there from as many countries .. and they will demo pretty much anything !

I've never even been to a full on air show before, I did slow down the shutter for the Lancaster (sorry, no aviation expert and I'm post-war !) but not enough .. just setting myself a bit of a challenge !

cheers, Maurice

Whetting my appetite for the the two day Clacton Air Show next week. Sadly no Red Arrows for the first time in years. I think they are in the States.

The big attraction will be the night flying again, which is quite spectacular with lots of flashes and bangs.

I'll post a few images in a separate thread so as not to steal Maurice's thunder.

Still trying.
