LOL. A lot of windshield time spent listening to them.

Do you like Corvettes? This is a rare one

Thanks for looking

Nice Corvette. So different from the bloated monstrosity that is the current model.

I think it's the iconic '57 Corvette that I like most of all. We don't see Corvettes over here much. In fact, I can't ever recall seeing one in the flesh.

My favourite cars are the gull-wing Mercedes (can't recall the model number off the top of my head), late 60's Mustangs and I have a very soft sport for the Mercedes W123's. Have never been a big fan of super cars, especially the Italian ones.

Last few months I have been dreaming about getting a Porsche 928 S4, or an early 80's model. Something about that design draws me in. Sadly the running costs would be prohibitive for me, so I'll just watch them on YouTube. :)

Thank you. True. The trend in styling today is not much to my liking either.

There is a large Porsche community here. They usually put on a couple of shows each summer

To me, the earlier  911's from the 70's are "it".

Here is an image from one of their shows earlier this year

Gotta go🚗

Thanks for the feedback🙂

Dallas,

Here's a gullwing Mercedes for you (Mercedes 300SL).

Could be a nice restoration project for you!

Oh wow, now that is something! I don't know if I would be any use to anybody by actually wielding a spanner or sanding block myself, but I could delegate jobs in the project. :) Is that car always going to stay in that condition or will it eventually be restored?

There's a channel on YouTube called Petrolicious which I enjoy watching from time to time. Some incredible cars have been featured on there.

An Italian Job. I don't know much about them. It just looked nice.
