Today is the last day of our current 6 month software license cycle from Invision. A few members have kindly donated some funds to help pay for this renewal, but I am still in need of approximately $65 to cover the tab.

 

I will of course pay this regardless, but if there are members who enjoy Fotozones who would like to chip in $5 or so to alleviate the expense that would be most appreciated. You can click on the donations box on the home page of the site and the system will guide you through the payment process. If you have trouble with that, please just send via PayPal to info@fotozones.com.

It has come to my attention that the Donate button on the home page wasn't working, so if you tried to donate via that channel in the past couple of days it might be that because the license had expired the gateway wasn't working (yep, proper ransomware this Invision stuff). Apologies if that happened to you, but you can try again now that it's renewed, or donate directly to info@fotozones.com fromPayPal.

I'd like to thank those of you who chipped in - it's great to get your support. I have raised $75 of the required $95, so I will make up the difference myself and close this goal until the next renewal which will be in December. 

 

I really enjoy keeping Fotozones going and making sure that we are using good software, albeit somewhat stiff on the cost front, the benefits as opposed to free open source software are clear to see. They add new features regularly and I think one of these days I need to make a video about some of the less obvious stuff.
