Chickadee in an Apple Tree

Recommended Posts

This is a Black-capped Chickadee seeking shelter in the apple tree in our Minnesota backyard.  These little guys are always fun to watch and always seem happy.  This one ducked into the apple tree for safety, likely after seeing me point my E-M1 mk11 and 300mm f4.0 his direction, shot at ISO 1600.

Excellent, Greg! I wish I could get some time with a 300mm Oly. I think it would be the perfect lens for surfing photography, which is something I really do enjoy.

The 300 is expensive because it is incredible in every way possible, and well worth every cent.  The way the focus "locks" with it on the E-M1 mkII is amazing.  It would be perfect for surfing photography.
