Interesting series.  Nice to see something so frosty when it is so hot here in Melbourne.

Wonderful images Alex.

The nickname or slang word for a non-pure breed cat in my part of the world is "moggy".  Your cat seems to me to be rather special, so much more than just a moggy. :)

I do not know English well enough. For this I use the translator of Google. This cat is completely thoroughbred, the owner says that he is even a sample of his breed. Breed - Siberian cat. Perhaps it elsewhere in the world has a different name. I know for sure that there are similar or related branches of the breed.

Siberian cat is the official international name of the breed. Nice series, well done.

Iceland in winter is amazing, looking for ice and snow patterns on the black sand at Reynisdrangar is extremely inspiring and makes enduring the cold definitely worth it. We had a great time during my Workshop there last February! Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm @ 24mm and filters Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra.

Seljalandsfoss is one of the most famous and photographed waterfalls in Iceland, most known for being photographed from behind the water. Since I like to go to Iceland in winter, both for my Workshops and for my personal work, that is never possible: the access to the waterfall's back is closed due to the snow. This, however, opens up new creative possibilities to portray this amazing waterfall surrounded by icicles and looking like it's digging in the snow. Black & white, for me, was the obvious choice for this.

At the beginning of last month, I was invited to a night press tour to the Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Plant.
