I didn't think it would be this difficult to make a selection, and the nominations sure did not make my first attempt at this easy at all!

 

After much deliberation, my selection is "I paid him a visit..." from Faris:

 

 

This one is the whole package to me, it has the back story, the awesome portrait, great B&W treatment and the expression of the subject won me over.
