Bob, Of this BG3 set of pics, I like the top two pics best. #1 has such nice water, and the trees hanging down combine for an excellent image. #2 appeals to me for some of the same reasons, and also because of the building oddly enough, which I think ads some sort of contrast to the scene for me. I am drawn to the bridge pic also, maybe simply because of the architectonic details.

Very pleasing set of images Bob. The BG-3 is one filter I don't have. I see that Edmund has a 2" square version. Is that the one you use?

As far as I remember Bob had mentioned that he got his BG3 from the same guy Reed has his filters made: Robert Cairns

yes indeed.. the 82mm BG-3 came form Robert Cairns..

Was it a special order item? I tried looking on their web site and could not find listings of sizes and prices. A lot of links to Schott. A lot of Schott's own links are broken BTW.
