      I got hooked on photography when I was 32 years old, so by my reckoning almost 20 years have passed since I bought my first "serious" camera. But the obsession didn't start there, it went way back to when I was just 12. As a boy I was given a Canomatic "Instamatic" camera by my parents for my 12th birthday and I loved it, but it wasn't like the SLR cameras I would see in the windows of camera stores around the city. Those cameras looked the business.
