Went to Catalonia for week to help a friend relocate to a new apartment, on my last night we went out for dinner in Barcelona followed by a nightdrive for some photographing which was a joy to do because this city really comes alive between dusk and dawn (though some lights go out after 3 o clock).

The picture of the statue is very cool. Foreground of a person made of dead shiny material; background in the shape of dark living creatures. Textures into play. I like also the arrange of light, in gradation from front to back and left to right. The -streetlight?- making a nice balance and an interesting addition. Where is it in Barna?

Hi Paco,

Thanks for your kind words, much appreciated.

The last two shots were taken at Musea Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (http://www.mnac.cat).

The church is near an amusement park up the hill, on the way up there a very nice sightseeing spot can be found to oversee Barna, sadly these shots were ruined by excessive dust and moist stains (which reminds me, have to clean my sensor).

The second one is really enjoyable, with the action in the bacground. I see clouds or smoke invading the sky and threatening the sun... All in the back of the statue.
Greetings from France

Here's a selfportrait at the same location as the statue.

Shot with the Samyang 14/2.8 AE, starting to appreciate this cheap lens for it's sharpness but clearly it has some distortion but I can live with that, for now.

I'm kind of getting why you rave about the D800e :D

Loving the first two images, top class execution and results.
