I don't have any personal experience with this lens, but here is a test report of it. It is all in Japanese, but you should be able to read out the technical data like aperture, ISO, shutter speed, etc. Click each image to view the one in the original (full) size:

I would have considered it, if it could focus up to at least about 20cm instead of 30cm.

FWIW, the optical design of this lens is different from the fixed 30/2.8 lens of Sigma DP2 Merrill. The latter is allegedly better.
