Joke aside, D5200 is available here in Japan. It would not be too long to hit the shelf in your country. The camera was released on Dec. 15 in Japan.

As others have said it is readily available in Europe and Japan. I understand Nikon are doing a staggered release and it will not be available in the American markets (North definitely and I assume South) for a short while yet. Thom Hogan had something to say on this subject http://www.bythom.co... Nikon News.htm scroll down to Nov 8 2012.
All that said my local stockist (Clifton Cameras) is showing it as pre-order, late december availability on their web site - price is still higher than D7000 :prankster:
