Strangely Panasonic has offered only cable remot control, so there has been possible vibration caused by the cable attached to the camera. Now that GH3 can be controled by smart phones or tablets via Wifi, the absolute vibration-free operation is possible.
One thing I noticed when I operated GH3 at a camera shop is that the hinge of the articulatin LCD feels more flimsy than that of the previous G/GH models. , which somewhat ditracts the otherwise solid and sturdy feel of the camera.

I am waiting for a packaged GH3 with 35-100mm before squeezing the trigger on the GH3.

I believe in knowing the strong points and weak points of any product I plan to acquire. I am particularly looking to understand the weak points so as not to be caught unaware or unprepared and your post helps me with that. In the end, I need to ensure that the value proposition of a new acquisition will make sense. For now, I am unwilling to pay full price for the GH3 and will simply wait till the price lowers. In the meantime, the GH2 body only at $500 is such a bargain that I have decided to get a 3rd unit for video while I await the GH3.

Not surprisingly, it pretty much matches the performance of the excellent Olympus E-M5 once the real ISO measurement is used as both are using the same Sony sensor. The sensor in the Nikon D7000 is still better than both m4/3 bodies but it is not the solid 1-stop better that one would normally from the APS-C sensor expect given the difference in sensor size.
More info here:
This made me speculate that if Sony introduces the improvements it made in the m4/3 sensor in its new upcoming new APS-C sensor, an improvement of 1/3 to 2/3 stop over the current D7000 sensor may be possible.
