fascinating reflective light on several surfaces, my eye goes right to the metal grate under the chair and then into  the cobbles and on to the stonework curbs..kind of hangs out in the foreground with the easel/chair and the left most lower corner, the textures of the cobble street and the curbstones with your light capture are an eyefeast...and then i'm off down the street, another perspective treat..
of course, aside from looking into your photo, i'm wondering what lens was used, what aperture..looking at your signature line, i don't think it was any of these listed lenses??

Thanks Rodney. You have acute observations because I have PP to call attention to those areas, i.e., the shiny cobble stones and the metal lid. It is gratifying when the viewer noted the photo/editing intention. I did not like the trash close by when taking the photo. Nevertheless, it could add rather take away from the photo, i.e., some one's art is other's trash? :-)

The lens is 17-35mm f2.8 and is indeed not in my signature list.  I try to keep my list simple so that it does not look like a bragging line :-).

..uhh, well i was sort of wondering about your choice of foreground ;), but figured it's your shot-your choice. i am wanting to see close-up, or more details of the cobbles/curbstones/metal plate..without the accessories ;D

I like the atmosphere, but I prefer the other alley in BW

Cuong, Here is my suggestion. I have redressed vertical lines on the left (an old reflex of work in darkroom), Control of the high and low light, a bit more contrasted and a little crop on the top...

I am dust of star, attracted by the light as a butterfly, but it burns my wings and I return to the dust.

Good to see you back Alex. Thanks for the comment. I was pondering about cropping and lightening up as you suggested.. and I thought keeping the messiness of the bottom would add the ambience which would need to leave the sky i to balance it out. Now I like your version :-).
