When I made that shot I haven't seen neither the sun nor stars nor the moon for 5 days in a row...accordingly the original image is flat and dull. But I liked the shot and started to play around.

I like it a lot ... does it work for you as well?

cheers,
Chris

Fun resulted in a couple of nice looking, interesting photos.

I like the first one a lot... Every crow tells a different story, the simplified graphic depiction works very well and the "sun" captivates me...
Maybe the right side is unnecessary and too cluttered, but it doesn't really matter

Thanks Longhiker ... fun is always the best motivation

Thank you very much Olivier ... I tried to crop it tighter but then I sort of missed the rightmost crow :)

again thanks, much appreciated!

I find the first image very striking and original, never seen the sun with such a pale sky,
both of which contrast nicely with the crows and the tree.
The tree is also a very sympathetic shape for the composition.

Interesting image.

I like them both. The first one has more movement, but I'm gravitating towards the more static second one with somewhat more obvious silhouettes.

Very nice, crows are highly intelligent and interesting birds.

If I didn't know otherwise, I would say the first one was by Bjørn R. - I like it!

Thanks Joergen ... this was really incidentally but without Bjørn's work I probably would have never considered this ... he surely broadened my mind and I am most thankful for this inspiration.

Like the first one better. The yellow flare gives a nice accent to the grafically interesting B&W part.

The crow in the video Anthony shared should be called "Corvus ludens". :)
