Now that's a set of pretty gold boxes :)

I guess you can sell the Sigma 70-200 and invest in something else since you've already got the Nikon version. Something like that Olympus OM-D EM-5 you mentioned in your original post.

You should be able to get an OM-D for about the same money. The only problem with that move is that it opens up a whole new can of GAS. ;)

Yes, that's exactly my intention. And by selling my walk-around lens, the 28-300, I can put some more money in an OM-D system. Hopefully that will cure my mirrorless GAS for a while. :)

Just to round off this topic. The final (who am I kidding?) pieces to this puzzle are now in my hands. Have had a gripped OM-D E-M5 with the 12-50 kit lens and the 75/1.8 for a couple of days now. It will take a while to get the hang of it. The 75/1.8 is a stellar lens though.

Yes, GAS is a powerful force. I also got an F-mount to m4/3 adapter which opens up another can of worms.

I usually try out a new camera by shooting a bit and playing around in the menus to try to configure it the way I want it. Then I like to sit down in the sofa with a cup of java and flip through the manual to find any gems of information or answers to questions that have arised. To my disappointment the OM-D doesn't come with a printed manual.
