I photographed this years ago on film and today just went back to have another go. C&C most welcome


Just in case it is not obvious the coloured light is caused by the sun shining though the stained glass window to the viewers RHS.

I think there are two beautiful things in this image: the light through the stained glass window and the painting on the wall.
I think both would be a great subject and make a beautiful image, but together I find it difficult to decide what (for me!) the subject of the image is: the coloured light or the painting on the wall.

Especially the light (maybe together with the window) is an interesting and challenging subject to capture, I think.

I agree Ron, I think this was a little gift from the architect of the church, this happens around half past one each day. This church consecrated in June 1864 was built on the site of an original church from around 1220.
