Our 2012 Safari is made up of three segments. Members can join us on any (or all) of the segments. Each segment has been individually priced so as to provide maximum flexibility in terms of your budget and travel time.

Space available: 1 individual or a couple sharing (as of 1 November 2011)
Dates: See below for each segment

Segment 1 - Cape Town & The Garden Route (21 - 29 September 2012)

In this segment, we explore some of the most beautiful parts of South Africa – Cape Town and the world-renowned ‘Garden Route’. We will spend a few days in Cape Town, where we will photograph at various spots around the Peninsula, take the cable-car to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting), explore the world-famous Cape Winelands, photograph African Penguins and visit the Cape of Good Hope - the south-western tip of Africa! We also explore the Garden Route, with its rich scenic beauty, lush evergreen forests and rugged coastline. This area incorporates the fynbos biome, with a diversity of plants greater than anywhere else on earth, and teems with spectacular birds and other wildlife. For the more adventurous, there is the opportunity of participating in the highest bungee jump in the world – at 216m!

We will be staying at the exclusive, 6 suite Little Bush Camp, which is the most ideal location from which to base ourselves for twice daily game drives through the vast Sabi Sands reserve. We are likely to encounter all of the big 5 animals (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant & buffalo) as well as a host of other species too.
